Smarter, more useful and more connected technology. More powerful and efficient engines. A striking new design. And, most importantly, improvements to the carrying capacity. This is the Ford Transit.
With a rugged design, host of smart technologies, and a new level of capability. The new Ford Transit Trail is built for those who demand more for their business.
A mechanical Limited-Slip Differential sends power to the wheels with most traction to keep your
Transit Trail moving on challenging terrain. While optional Intelligent All-Wheel Drive improves this van's off-road capability, meaning you’ll handle the toughest jobs with ease.
An imposing new grille with bold FORD lettering guarantees you’ll get noticed. While, bodyside mouldings, and unique 16" alloy wheels makes sure even the toughest jobs are handled with style.
Transit Trail is available with an optional Intelligent All Wheel Drive system that replaces the mechanical Limited Slip Differential and helps you achieve an even smoother, more confident progress on challenging terrain.
Our commercial vehicles are built to move all kinds of cargo, and our latest Transit variant is designed to be adaptable and hard-working.
We’ve enhanced the product to meet the most demanding of conditions such as uprated brakes and tougher axles. That means it’s not just an even stronger version of the standard Transit van, but also the ideal basis for a bespoke conversion to support specialist customers such as the emergency services or construction and transport industries.
The new 5T GVM (payload of up to 2457kg in the van*) is offered in two body styles, two cab sizes, three wheelbases and four overall lengths. Customers can work with converters from our network of over 160 Qualified Vehicle Modifiers in 13 countries to design and build anything from simple shelving inside their van to a complete luxury
*Gross Payload = Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) less Kerb Mass. GVM = the total permissible all-up weight of a rigid vehicle i.e. with body, payload, ancillaries, fuel, oil, water, drive and crew. Kerb Mass = the weight of the complete vehicle and all equipment including fuel and water but without payload, driver or any crew. All Kerb Masses quoted are subject to manufacturing tolerances and are for models with minimum equipment unless stated otherwise.
Higher specification models will have greater Kerb Masses and therefore lower payloads due to increased standard equipment.
