Isuzu’s 5.5t ‘Forward’ models – Euro VI

The Isuzu ‘FORWARD’ N55.150 Euro VI 5.5t GVW 4x2 rigid is compact and versatile and can have the same 3-man compact narrow cab as Isuzu offers on its 3.5t range. Alternatively it can have the same spacious and well equipped 3-man wide cab as found on the 6.5 and 7.5 tonne models. Both models share the same engine and driveline. Isuzu’s Euro VI 3.0 litre 150 PS engine is matched to a 5 - speed synchromesh overdrive gearbox. Whether you choose a narrow or wide cab, this compact truck is ideal for operations requiring more carrying capacity than 3.5 tonners without having the large physical footprint as perhaps a 7.5 tonner. Finally, all Isuzu’s 5.5 tonners have a designed gross train weight of 9000kgs, meaning they can tow a trailer and load not exceeding 3500kgs.

Isuzu’s 7.5t ‘Urban’ and ‘Forward’ models – Euro VI

Isuzu’s 7.5 tonners are renowned for their payload and performance. At home in both rural and urban environments, the slim cab and folding mirrors provide safe passage through tight spots. The ergonomic interior, car-like controls, excellent visibility and manoeuvrability guarantee a comfortable driver experience. The 7.5 tonners are available with Isuzu’s Easyshift or manual gearboxes, matched to a choice of power units, with the added option of either a 3-man day or 7-man crew cab (the latter option only available on the ‘FORWARD’ N75.190, 5.2 litre, 190 PS model).

These vehicles offer market-leading payload carrying capacity, good fuel economy, easy cross-cab access, reliability and durability. They are popular with customers in small, niche businesses as well as large blue-chip, household-name, fleets.

With the advent of the Euro VI regulations, Isuzu now offers two engine options at 7.5 tonnes. Isuzu has introduced a new model but with a proven driveline pedigree - the Euro VI ‘URBAN’ N75.150 with a turbocharged and intercooled, four-cylinder, 3.0 litre, 150 PS engine. This model sits comfortably alongside Isuzu’s alternative 7.5 tonner – the Euro VI ‘FORWARD’ N75.190 with its turbocharged and intercooled, four-cylinder, 5.2 litre, 190 PS engine.

In summary, by taking the option of the 3.0 litre, 150 PS engine option, the new ’URBAN’ range of 7.5 tonners is just over 200kgs lighter than its ‘FORWARD’ 5.2 litre, 190 PS partner. The new ‘FORWARD’ N75.190 is ideally suited for more arduous operations, especially those with longer distances and faster average-speed requirements. The new ‘URBAN’ is ideal for payload critical, stop-start, local distribution operations.

Both vehicles have a designed gross train weight of 11000kgs which means they can legally tow a trailer and load of up to 3500kgs.

Paynes Garages Ltd. is an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No. 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allows Paynes Garages Ltd. to act as a credit broker, not a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders, and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.

We are a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a carefully selected panel of lenders, which includes manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent. We act on behalf of the lender for this introduction and not as your agent. We are not impartial, and we are not an independent financial advisor.

Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next most suitable offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure a suitable finance agreement for you that enables you to achieve your financial objectives. If you purchase a vehicle, in the majority of cases, we will receive a commission from your lender for introducing you to them which is either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you purchase.

Different lenders pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement; however, you will be contributing towards the commission paid to us with the interest collected on your repayments. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.
