The whole Isuzu Range from 3.5t - 11t come with a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty, including roadside assistance or recovery. It is possible to extend the warranty at extra cost
If a bodied commercial vehicle has an unladen weight that exceeds 2610kgs it must comply with the new Euro VI emission standards. Some commercial vehicles can be bodied and have an unladen weight lower than 2610kgs. In this case the vehicle only needs to comply with Europe’s latest Euro 5b+ emission standards. Isuzu offers its customers a choice of technologies for its ‘GRAFTER’ range. To achieve Euro VI emission standards Isuzu has utilised EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) along with SCR (selective catalytic reaction using AdBlue), a DPD (diesel particulate diffuser) and OBD (on-board diagnostics) technology on its 3.0 litre, 150 PS engine option.
To achieve the Euro 5b+ emissions requirements Isuzu has achieved this with just EGR and a DPD - still on its 3.0 litre engine but with a slightly reduced power rating of 120 PS. ITUK recommends the Euro 5b+ 120 PS engine option for operations that don’t involve too much heavy towing. However, ALL Isuzu 3.5t ‘GRAFTERS’ can legally tow a trailer and load weighing up to a further 3500kgs* – in other words a designed gross train weight of 7000kgs. If your operation frequently requires towing plant or equipment at or near the 7000kgs designed GTW limit, ITUK recommends the 150 PS engine is the one for you.
The Isuzu 3.5t ‘GRAFTERS’ have built up a loyal following of customers because they’re tough, rugged and reliable workhorses. As a tipper or a dropside, Isuzu’s ‘GRAFTERS’ are a very popular choice amongst the construction and landscaping trades. However, the versatility of the chassis also means that other bespoke bodies such as boxes, curtainsiders, fridges and many other options can be specified. Finally, the Euro VI model offers a choice of 2 cabs at this weight - Isuzu's 3-man compact narrow cab or a more spacious 3-man wide cab. All Isuzu 3.5t Euro 5b+ models have a manual gearbox whereas the Euro VI models have the option of Isuzu’s Easyshift or manual transmissions.

The Isuzu ‘FORWARD’ N55.150 Euro VI 5.5t GVW 4x2 rigid is compact and versatile and can have the same 3-man compact narrow cab as Isuzu offers on its 3.5t range. Alternatively it can have the same spacious and well equipped 3-man wide cab as found on the 6.5 and 7.5 tonne models. Both models share the same engine and driveline. Isuzu’s Euro VI 3.0 litre 150 PS engine is matched to a 5 - speed synchromesh overdrive gearbox. Whether you choose a narrow or wide cab, this compact truck is ideal for operations requiring more carrying capacity than 3.5 tonners without having the large physical footprint as perhaps a 7.5 tonner. Finally, all Isuzu’s 5.5 tonners have a designed gross train weight of 9000kgs, meaning they can tow a trailer and load not exceeding 3500kgs.
In between Isuzu’s 5500kgs and 7500kgs GVW products, Isuzu also produces a vehicle with a GVW of 6500kgs - the ‘FORWARD’ N65.150 Euro VI 6.5t GVW 4x2 rigid. From car transporters and recovery vehicles to home delivery and utilitarian operations, Isuzu’s 6.5 tonne model is a great all-rounder. It has exactly the same cab as the 7.5 tonner and the same driveline as the Isuzu ‘URBAN’ - Euro VI, 3.0 litre 150 PS engine with an option of Isuzu’s Easyshift or manual gearboxes. Its innovative low cab forward control design ensures maximum load capacity and excellent manoeuvrability. In addition this vehicle is engineered to legally tow up to 3500kgs and has a designed gross train weight of 10000kgs.
Isuzu’s 7.5 tonners are renowned for their payload and performance. At home in both rural and urban environments, the slim cab and folding mirrors provide safe passage through tight spots. The ergonomic interior, car-like controls, excellent visibility and manoeuvrability guarantee a comfortable driver experience. The 7.5 tonners are available with Isuzu’s Easyshift or manual gearboxes, matched to a choice of power units, with the added option of either a 3-man day or 7-man crew cab (the latter option only available on the ‘FORWARD’ N75.190, 5.2 litre, 190 PS model).
These vehicles offer market-leading payload carrying capacity, good fuel economy, easy cross-cab access, reliability and durability. They are popular with customers in small, niche businesses as well as large blue-chip, household-name, fleets.
With the advent of the Euro VI regulations, Isuzu now offers two engine options at 7.5 tonnes. Isuzu has introduced a new model but with a proven driveline pedigree - the Euro VI ‘URBAN’ N75.150 with a turbocharged and intercooled, four-cylinder, 3.0 litre, 150 PS engine. This model sits comfortably alongside Isuzu’s alternative 7.5 tonner – the Euro VI ‘FORWARD’ N75.190 with its turbocharged and intercooled, four-cylinder, 5.2 litre, 190 PS engine.
In summary, by taking the option of the 3.0 litre, 150 PS engine option, the new ’URBAN’ range of 7.5 tonners is just over 200kgs lighter than its ‘FORWARD’ 5.2 litre, 190 PS partner. The new ‘FORWARD’ N75.190 is ideally suited for more arduous operations, especially those with longer distances and faster average-speed requirements. The new ‘URBAN’ is ideal for payload critical, stop-start, local distribution operations.
Both vehicles have a designed gross train weight of 11000kgs which means they can legally tow a trailer and load of up to 3500kgs.
